Gordon Liu, returns in this dazzling kung fu classic directed by the legendary Lau Kar-Liang (Jackie Chan’s “Legend of the Drunken Master”). After a Shaolin kung fu master is murdered by his own students, his son flees for his own life. When he meets up with a mysterious hermit, he is taught the unique Drunken Kung Fu. Now the “Shaolin Drunken Monk” must take ruthless revenge on his father’s killers.

After his father is murdered, the rightful heir to the Big Mantis Clan learns drunken kung fu from an old master. After mastering the Shaolin Fists and Eight Drunk Gods techniques, he is off to avenge his father’s death. An action-packed film filled with fights choreographed by the Lau Brothers, and from the director of DRUNKEN MASTER II.

The Shaolin Drunken Monk, directed by Lau Ka-Liang, stars Gordon Liu as the son of a martial arts teacher who is murdered by his students. The son escapes and comes under the tutelage of a hermit who instructs him in the ways of Drunken Kung Fu. The son then sets out to avenge his father’s death.
